Planetary Health Art Exhibition
Your institution or organization has the opportunity to positively influence the environmental crises around us by generating awareness.
A specially curated art exhibition can help viewers link their own health with the health of nature around us and move towards mutually beneficial action.
We invite you to consider hosting or sponsoring our proposed traveling art exhibition linking human health and planetary health. This exhibition will be specifically designed for hospital or health center audiences but will be suitable for all small to medium sized exhibit spaces. This participatory exhibition is tentatively scheduled to open at the University of Michigan’s main hospital campus on December 12, 2022. It will be available for traveling to your institution after March 3, 2023.
When people are focused on their health, it’s an ideal time to invite them to reflect on how nature affects their wellbeing. Bold attractive images will draw people in and simple messaging can have a powerful impact. Additional tools to deepen the experience, such as participatory artmaking and linked digital information, can guide viewers towards actions that benefit both the planet and themselves.
